FULL HOUSE 2 - de Alphons EYCKMANS

The long awaited Edition of this beautiful and very complex puzzle by Alfons Eyckmans.

FULL HOUSE 2 design by Alfons EYCKMANS by Maurice VIGOUROUX for ARTELUDES.

This is a Burr made up of a fixed cage and 18 moving pieces; a large (8cm) square game.  This game was created in 2015 by Alfons Eyckmans and had never been crafted.

It is not a very high level Burr, in fact its resolution level is as follows:

It takes 24 moves to get the first piece out, 18 for the second, etc.  It is therefore a medium level burr to solve but it will take you a lot of time because of the large number of parts that can move and some movements that are not very intuitive and will confuse the specialists. On the other hand, reassembly is impossible without the assistance of Burrtool.

Its size allows a pleasant grip. Here no small size with impossible to handle elements. The pieces can be pushed easily without forcing.

This puzzle is exclusive to ARTELUDES.

All colors are natural. The woods are only polished and lightly waxed. The version presented here is a version with an black ebony cage and parts in Purplewood, Padouk (red) and Wengé (black).

These games are made by hand. They can present slight defects related to the imperfections of wood which is a natural product but which do not hinder their aestheticism and their operation.

A version with the cage in black ebony wood exists, you will also find it on the site.

A Burrtool file for disassembly and reassembly is available upon request.

Many thanks to Alfons EYCKMANS for his kind permission.

ARTELUDES Review : Above all a very beautiful object, this puzzle will find its place in your cabinet and offer you a challenge of very good level without being impossible.
